Rumors have already started to start on where Lebron goes. Well, my NBA connections(none)tells me he will be heading to my Bulls. Just do it Lebron... It feels so right.
I hate to be that guy, but I will....ok, the three players of the best players of the past 20 years...
MJ:
Year 3: 37.1-PPG 5.2-RPG 4.6-APG 2.9-SPG 1.5-BPG 3.3-TOPG .482-FGPCT .182-3PFGPCT .857-FTPCT
Year 7: 31.5-PPG 6-RPG 5.5-APG 2.7-SPG 1.0-BPG 2.5-TOPG .539-FGPCT .312-3PFGPCT .851-FTPCT
Kobe:
Year 3: 19.9-PG 5.3-RPG 3.8-APG 1.9-SPG 1.0-BPG 3.1-TOPG .465-FGPCT .267-3PFGPCT .839-FTPCT
Year 7: 30.0-PPG 6.9-RPG 5.9-APG 2.2-SPG .8-BPG 3.5-TOPG .451-FGPCT .383-3PFGPCT .843-FTPCT
Lebron:
Year 3: 31.4-PPG 7-RPG 6.6-APG 1.6-SPG .8-BPG 3.3-TOPG .480-FGPCT .335-3PFGPCT .738-FTPCT
Year 7: 29.7-PPG 7.3-RPG 8.6-APG 1.6-SPG 1.0-BPG 3.4-TOPG .503-FGPCT .333-3PFGPCT .767-FTPCT
I just don't really see how Lebron has gotten significantly better over his career. He hasn't gotte better as an outside shooter, which were both weaknesses of MJ and Kobe early in their careers. They both worked on it and improved significantly, whereas LBJ hasn't gotten any better. MJ was much more fficient as a scorer, and it could argued that Kobe became more fficient, even though his FG percent dipped, while LBJ remained relatively the same.
I think you can see a significant change between MJ and Kobe's 3rd and 7th seasons in the NBA, but I don't see it with Lebron, and then when you factor in the fact that Lebron is much more gifted athletically than Jordan and Kobe, and has a much higher upside, it becomes apparent that either Lebron isn't a diligent worker, or he has already reached his ceiling and is incapable of reaching the next level, that MJ and Kobe were able to attain.
LBJ really isn't much different than he was in year three, and I think that's huge indictment on him as a player.

So you had to post that twice. Drunk posting will get you many +1's young grasshopper but you have to know when to say when.....
Believe it or not but I sobered up to write this. I had a little trouble with posting it, as at first there was an error message and it didn't post, so I posted it again, and magically there are two.
Regardless, I stand by my LeBron can suck it stance.
P.S. One of these days I will be sober for a liveblog dammitt. lol
