Detroit Michigan Loses 6-3 34-17 to the Orioles Spartans

Baltimore 6, Detroit 3 Michigan State 34, Michigan 17

Well that sucked. As in, that sucked a lot. Today, we gave an exhibition on giving up runs points, as well as the phrase, "threatened but did not score". Infuriatingly, missed opportunities by the Tigers Wolverines was the difference today. The Tigers Wolverines missed three golden opportunities, stranding three runners on third turning the ball over twice in the redzone and missing a 42-yard field goal. This has been Hopefully this does not become an infuriating trend all season a trend for the remainder of the season. Because missing opportunities has will cost us a lot of games.

Even more depressingly, this is not a normal game that we lost. It was the first time Armando Galarraga pitched and Jim Joyce umped since Joyce screwed Galarraga out of a perfect game a rivalry game against a team with a fanbase that will make fun of us for it to no end for the last year because they lost to us six times in a row before their current winning streak. Well, at least everyone in the country knows that Galarraga really threw a perfect game Michigan's academics and football program are highly superior to Michigan State's. And at least our opponents fans have something to feel good about. I mean, seriously, how much would it suck to have rooted for Baltimore Michigan State for the past 15 years.

Yeah...I can't really put a bright side on this. This was an ugly, painful loss in a game we really wanted to win. This is as depressing as the knowledge that Chicago will raise a Stanley Cup banner in 29 days watching Chicago raise the Stanley Cup banner while waiting for the Red Wings game to start.

Sometimes, sports just make me unhappy.

When "michigansucks001-1.jpg" is in the link, I'm not going to bother clicking on it. If you're going to be an idiot and troll, at least do a better job of it. Of course, this requires you to be a few ticks north of completely stupid, a possibility which I find to be rather improbable.

Amusing anonymous. Unfortunately, OSU already beat you in that category with their Rich Rod banner last year.

wait to be a poor sport and have sour grapes...give msu some credit sheesh...very classless post

    Seth9 says:

The post was intended as a rather morbid joke for Michigan fans who follow the Tigers, not as an actual recap or analysis of the game. I'm not sure how you interpreted this as "classless".

Making a minor dig at your rival is not a big deal. I assure you, if I actually was going to show sour grapes, I would have written something far more comprehensive detailing my opinion of your institution. It would not be kind. Instead, I wrote a joke post comparing Michigan football to the Detroit Tigers and took an exceedingly minor dig at Michigan State in the process. I will, however, show self-restraint and refrain from explaining my opinion on Michigan State using a variety of statistics, quotations, and other evidence from both your school and your fanbase.
